We're seeking a detail-oriented, technically skilled Senior Automation Tester with Java expertise to join our engineering team. This role goes beyond manual verification, as you'll spearhead the development, maintenance, and scaling of our automated test suites. You'll write code that tests code, embedding automated checks directly into our delivery pipelines to keep our software stable, reliable, and free of regressions.
Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain strong automated testing frameworks covering web applications, mobile apps, and backend APIs

Convert manual test cases and user stories into automation scripts that are scalable, reliable, and easy to maintain

Embed automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing, automated regression cycles, and fast feedback for developers

Build automated tests across various layers, including UI validation and API/microservices validation

Track automated test execution outcomes, troubleshoot and resolve test failures, classify flaky tests, and keep quality dashboards clear for the team

Drive the automation testing strategy and mentor the team on best practices
Requirements

3+ years working as an Automation QA Engineer, Automated Testing Engineer, or SDET, including multiple years in a leadership role

Strong command of Java as your main programming language

Practical experience using modern automation tools and frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, and Appium

Working knowledge of version control (Git) and CI/CD platforms such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, and GitHub Actions

Solid grasp of software testing methodologies, including test-driven development (TDD) and behavior-driven development (BDD)

Proficiency with API testing tools like Postman and RestAssured

English language skills at B2 level or above
