EHS Coordinator (Environmental, Health & Safety)
We are seeking an Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Professional with experience in the automotive industry, specialized in the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of EHS Management Systems.
Expert in compliance with Mexican regulations (STPS, SEMARNAT, PROFEPA) and international standards (ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018).
Technical Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in the automotive metal-mechanic industry.
- ADVANCED English (Mandatory).
- Certified Internal Auditor in ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- In-depth knowledge of the environmental legal framework (SEMARNAT, PROFEPA) and occupational health and safety standards (STPS).
- Knowledge of CFE / CEA regulations and compliance.
- Handling, control, and manifest management of hazardous/non-hazardous waste, as well as chemical storage and handling.
- Formation and coordination of multidisciplinary emergency response teams; execution of environmental, health, and safety prevention campaigns.
- Coordination of occupational health services and physical/facility security.
- Proven experience in ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 certification processes.
- Proven experience handling internal, external, automotive client, and government agency audits.
- Maintenance of EMS document control, risk assessments, industrial hygiene studies (noise, lighting, etc.), and official procedures to ensure 100% regulatory compliance.
