Position Summary
Amalga Group is looking for a mid-level HR Specialist to support the full employee lifecycle, from onboarding through benefits administration, employee relations, engagement, and labor compliance. This generalist role is suited to someone with 2–4 years of HR experience who is comfortable managing day-to-day HR operations and partnering with managers and employees across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead new-hire onboarding, including documentation and orientation.
- Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, employee changes, and vendor coordination.
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS and ensure data integrity for reporting and audits.
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
- Track and analyze attrition and retention metrics, identify trends, and support initiatives to improve employee retention.
- Ensure compliance with Mexican labor regulations, including the Federal Labor Law (LFT) and NOM-035 requirements.
- Develop and update HR policies, procedures, and the employee handbook.
- Coordinate employee engagement initiatives and internal communications.
- Partner with the HR Manager on compensation reviews, workforce planning, and additional HR projects.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in an HR Generalist or HR Specialist role.
- Working knowledge of Mexican labor law, including the Federal Labor Law (LFT) and NOM-035 requirements.
- Experience using HRIS platforms such as Workday, ADP, BambooHR, or similar systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Nice to Have
- Experience supporting compensation reviews, workforce planning, or employee retention initiatives.
- Experience coordinating employee engagement programs and internal communications.
Sueldo: $25,000.00 - $32,000.00 al mes
