(SDET BE) Quality Engineer
Must-Have Skills
- 3+ years of experience in QA Automation or as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET).
- Strong proficiency in Java, including Object-Oriented Programming (OOP), Collections Framework, Exception Handling, and build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
- Hands-on experience in REST API test automation.
- Proven experience using RestAssured for API validation and automation.
- Experience with Karate Framework for API testing and end-to-end validation.
- Experience automating Postman collections and executing tests using Newman.
- Strong understanding of functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS protocols, RESTful services, request/response structures, headers, authentication mechanisms, and API security concepts (OAuth, JWT, Basic Authentication).
- Experience integrating automated test suites into CI/CD pipelines.
- Proficiency with Git and version control best practices.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
