This Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for leading and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operation, ensuring product availability, inventory efficiency, timely deliveries, and operational continuity.
This position will coordinate supply planning, inventory management, purchasing, imports, logistics, warehousing, and distribution, working closely with Commercial, Finance, Operations, and international teams.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and analytical supply chain professional who can translate commercial demand into efficient supply plans, identify operational risks, and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end Supply Chain strategy and operation for Mexico.
- Develop and maintain demand and supply planning processes aligned with commercial forecasts.
- Manage inventory levels, availability, replenishment, and product allocation.
- Establish and monitor inventory policies, safety stock, reorder points, and inventory turns.
- Coordinate purchasing and replenishment with international suppliers and corporate teams.
- Oversee importation, international logistics, customs coordination, and domestic distribution.
- Ensure optimal warehouse operations and product availability across the distribution network.
- Monitor delivery performance and ensure high levels of OTIF (On Time In Full).
- Identify supply risks and develop contingency plans for critical products and suppliers.
- Partner with the Commercial team to translate sales forecasts and business plans into actionable supply requirements.
- Analyze supply chain KPIs and develop improvement initiatives focused on service, cost, inventory, and working capital.
- Lead relationships with logistics providers, warehouses, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other strategic partners.
- Identify opportunities to reduce logistics and supply chain costs without compromising customer service.
- Develop dashboards and reports to provide visibility into inventory, demand, supply, logistics, and service levels.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across planning, procurement, logistics, and inventory management.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and applicable Mexican regulations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Logistics, Planning, Procurement, or related areas.
- Previous experience managing supply chain processes in a multinational or international environment.
- Experience with demand planning, inventory management, purchasing, imports, and logistics.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain KPIs and inventory management methodologies.
- Experience coordinating external logistics and warehousing partners.
- Advanced English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international teams.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
