An automotive manufacturing company is seeking a Systems / IT Engineer to manage, maintain, and optimize technological infrastructure, ERP systems, information security, and user support for plant and office operations, ensuring business continuity and operational reliability.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in IT management, technical support, infrastructure administration, and process automation, ERP systems
- Industry Experience: Prior experience in manufacturing plants or the automotive sector is strongly preferred.
- Level English: Advance
Technical Knowledge & Skills
1. ERPs & Management Systems
2. Experience in the administration and support of relational databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or Access.
3. Support and configuration of industrial data capture devices, handhelds, scanners, Zebra printers, and similar equipment used in manufacturing environments.
4. Experience providing operational support for critical production systems, ensuring operational continuity, minimizing downtime, and addressing incidents on production lines.
5. Experience participating in projects related to manufacturing, process automation, operational improvement, or system implementation using methodologies such as PMP or Scrum.
6. operational validations and functional testing for manufacturing systems, ERP, and production-related applications
7. Ability to understand and make basic adjustments to applications developed in Access, Visual Basic, and Excel macros, as well as relational databases such as SQL Server or Oracle.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and support manufacturing systems, ERPs, operational applications, and production-related technology solutions to ensure operational continuity, system stability, and the proper functioning of plant applications.
- Maintain and oversee IT systems, operational services, and technology devices used in manufacturing to ensure the availability, performance, and continuity of technology services.
- Optimize and improve operational workflows, support processes, and existing application functionalities to enhance operational efficiency.
- Validate and implement configurations, changes, updates, and adjustments to existing systems and applications to improve efficiency and reduce risk.
- Monitor the performance, availability, and behavior of systems, applications, and devices to detect failures in a timely manner.
- Evaluate operational requirements, incidents, and the needs of users and manufacturing areas to implement aligned improvements and adjustments. Resolve technical issues related to systems, applications, data capture devices, and plant operations to restore functionality.
- Maintain and optimize existing databases, applications, and functional solutions to ensure the availability, integrity, and reliability of operational data.
