Summary: Responsible for ensuring product and process quality in accordance with Management objectives, with the authority to stop production processes when risks or nonconformities are identified.
Essential Job Functions (Duties and Responsibilities)
Primary duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Identify, document, monitor, report, and control risks affecting products and processes that could compromise safety and key business performance indicators.
- Lead problem-solving activities and preventive actions related to assigned key performance indicators.
- Coordinate cross-functional resources and efforts required to meet quality assurance requirements.
- Monitor and maintain procedures, documents, records, and all supporting evidence related to the Quality Management System (QMS).
- Develop and maintain the system for auditing all organizational processes. Coordinate final process inspections, receiving inspections, and prepare and sign certificates based on metallurgical information.
- Establish standards to implement and promote Safety and 5S practices.
- Promote continuous improvement ideas within the Quality team.
- Lead by example in achieving Quality objectives and key performance indicators (Safety, Product, Process, QMS, and EMS).
- Manage nonconforming product and controlled material areas.

Education: Technical degree or equivalent work experience
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Automotive Quality Control
Languages: Basic English
a) Ability to interpret and generate technical information
b) Ability to develop work instructions to ensure compliance with objectives and technical product/process specifications.
c) Ability to interpret technical documentation
Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, Bases de Datos.
Technical Knowledge
- Basic knowledge of Metallurgy.
- Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
- Knowledge of customer-specific quality requirements.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to work in both seated and standing positions for extended periods in an office and industrial environment.
- Ability to enter data using computer equipment.
- Ability to bend, pull, hold, and reach.
- Ability to lift between 10 and 25 kg (22–55 lbs).
- Ability to work in environments exposed to temperature variations, vapors, noise, humidity, and similar conditions.
- Ability to read documents, view computer monitors and screens, and perform visual inspections.
- Ability to communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
Mental Requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Cognitive ability to perform the essential functions of the position.
