We are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to provide strategic and operational oversight of a decentralized fleet of more than 450 vehicles across multiple locations.
This position will manage the relationship with the company’s external fleet management provider while ensuring vehicle availability, cost efficiency, regulatory compliance, and lifecycle optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete lifecycle of 450+ vehicles, including acquisition, upfitting, preventive maintenance, compliance, replacement, and disposal.
- Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic liaison with the fleet management services provider.
- Develop and manage the annual fleet strategy using data insights and industry benchmarks.
- Identify opportunities to optimize Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Conduct regular business reviews to evaluate service-level performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop vehicle replacement plans based on mileage, depreciation schedules, and business needs.
- Coordinate vehicle assignments, transfers, and de-fleet activities across multiple locations.
- Oversee fuel programs, preventive maintenance, and repair authorizations.
- Manage driver policies, vehicle-use guidelines, and onboarding processes.
- Monitor fleet utilization and identify underutilized assets or consolidation opportunities.
- Partner with regional and site-level teams to coordinate vehicle requirements and resolve daily fleet issues.
- Serve as the escalation point for fleet-related matters.
- Manage the fleet operating budget, including leasing, depreciation, fuel, maintenance, insurance, and administrative expenses.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports covering fleet costs, utilization, maintenance expenses, and TCO variances.
- Conduct audits and compliance reviews.
- Maintain accurate vehicle records, insurance certificates, and driver eligibility documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Five or more years of progressive fleet management experience.
- Demonstrated responsibility for a fleet of at least 200 vehicles.
- Experience working directly with a national fleet management, full-service leasing, or fleet outsourcing company.
- Strong understanding of vehicle lifecycle management, TCO modeling, and fleet benchmarking.
- Experience working within a decentralized or multi-site organization.
- Proficiency with fleet management information systems, analytics, and reporting tools.
- Excellent vendor management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels without direct authority.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electric vehicle fleet integration and sustainability reporting.
- Familiarity with fleet telematics platforms and GPS tracking solutions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field.
Compensation and Benefits
- $55,000 to $65,000 MXN gross per month, depending on experience.
- Biweekly pay.
- $1,000 MXN in monthly food vouchers.

Sueldo: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 al mes
