Objective:
Optimize project delivery through its lifecycle, provide system implementation planning, project and user set-up, configuration and training for Construction Systems. Lead / Contribute with input to the development and maintenance of the system standard build, application security, documentation, reporting, systems integrations, and participate in new release testing and rollout.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the existing construction systems applications (O3 or other relevant applications). Actively lead and participate in the Construction Digital Enablement initiatives.
• Provide project-based support services for managing and performing data processing tasks associated with the use of O3 Software in support of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP) to Work Face Planning (WFP)
• Configure, implement, and administer Construction Systems.
• Support Perform software installations, technical support, and upgrades
• Define, coordinate, and provide data requirements to all interested EPC parties
• Federation and integration of multiple models, schedules, and 3rd party data sources
• Coordinate and support data mapping activities to interface client-specific systems and project-specific data sources to Construction Systems standard data interfaces.
• Create client specific template(s) and specification documents.
• Work with project teams to provide updated data sets in Construction Systems involving isometrics (PCF/IDF files); 3D CAD models, project control databases; and various other spreadsheets and databases
• Develop a 4D “Path of Construction” including, but not limited to, details on construction operations, equipment paths, coordination with design, highlighting important construction activities and turnover
• Assist with the integration of digital solutions with various 3rd party applications
• Provide individual and group coaching and training
Merger/Consolidation/Rationalization of Systems
• Provide Inputs and work with selection of tools, Merger of Systems/Database etc with Internal & External Stakeholders.
• Work with Project Management Office for Implementation of special projects including implementation of new tools, rationalization, alignment etc.
Strategic Planning and Management
• Develop and deliver a long-term strategy for Construction Management Systems capability in collaboration with counterparts in Worley’ Construction Management Network.
• Develop system roadmaps and lifecycle plans, including evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies.
• Monitor growth of system take up on projects.
• Monitor volume of system support services via ServiceNow reporting.
• Optimise implementation and support processes.
Stakeholder Management and Interfaces
• Proactively work with business line functional and operational managers to ensure system benefits are understood and adopted.
• Build strong relationships with key stakeholders; understand and manage expectations.
• Develop and deliver presentations as required.
• Engage and coordinate with digital operations for infrastructure and database management, system availability and performance, capacity planning, business continuity and disaster recovery planning, and adherence to digital operations and security procedures.
• Coordinate with digital operations procurement for licencing requirements and enforcing contractual obligations.
System Knowledge and Continuous Improvement
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of system capabilities and associated work processes.
• Maintain a high level of understanding of functional work processes and procedures, overall EPC business, and project execution; ensure systems are aligned with EMS procedures and processes.
• Investigate ways to progress systems capabilities to improve productivity, efficiency, or information availability and visibility for projects.
Requirements:
- Industry Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience in Construction Management Systems.
- Education: A recognized degree or equivalent qualification/experience.
- Specific Vendor Experience: O3 Solutions experience.
- AWP Methodology: Good working knowledge of Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), including path of construction, workface planning, work packaging, and constraint management.
- CAD/Modeling Systems: Working knowledge of basic 3D CAD system concepts such as object tree levels and model structures, both 2D and 3D (E3D, SP3D, etc.).
- Bilingual (Spanish/English or Portuguese/English)
