Accounting Manager (Bilingual English/Spanish)

As our company continues to grow, we are seeking a highly organized, trustworthy, and proactive Accounting Manager to become a key member of our team. This is a high-trust position with significant responsibility and long-term growth potential for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Management
- Manage all day-to-day accounting activities within QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Lead the monthly close process
- Prepare monthly financial statements including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
- Prepare management reports and financial analyses for leadership
- Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations to support business decisions
- Coordinate payroll processing and contractor payments
Business Operations & Administration
- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for compliance and internal controls
- Assist with banking relationships and treasury management
- Support insurance administration and policy management
- Assist with contract tracking and document organization
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency
- Support leadership with special projects and strategic initiatives as the company grows
Communication and Teamwork
- Communicate professionally and effectively in both English and Spanish
- Work closely with U.S.-based leadership and remote team members
- Coordinate with vendors, customers, financial institutions, and outside service providers as needed
Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Cédula Profesional required
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Experience preparing monthly financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports
- Strong QuickBooks Online experience required
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- High integrity, professionalism, and discretion with confidential financial information
- Reliable internet connection and dedicated home office environment
Preferred
- Experience supporting a U.S.-based company
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, construction, or project-based businesses
- Experience managing accounting processes in a growing company environment

Compensation & Benefits
- MX$65,000 monthly salary
- Paid time off
- All Mexican federal holidays
- Fully remote position
- Approximately four company-paid trips per year to Austin, Texas and/or locations within Mexico for team meetings and training
