Position: Chief Accountant.
Location: Puebla.
Type of job: Full time / presential.
Position Objective
Ensure the proper recording, control, and analysis of the company's financial and accounting information within a manufacturing environment, guaranteeing compliance with fiscal, legal, and administrative obligations according to current regulations, while providing reliable financial information for decision-making purposes.
Key Responsibilities
· Supervise and execute the accounting records of all company financial operations.
· Prepare monthly and annual financial statements.
· Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
· Perform bank reconciliations and balance reviews.
· Coordinate and supervise monthly and annual accounting closings.
· Ensure compliance with federal, state, and municipal tax obligations.
· Prepare and submit tax returns (ISR, VAT, payroll tax, among others).
· Coordinate internal and external audits.
· Supervise payroll calculations, taxes, and social security compliance.
· Manage and control fixed assets and depreciation.
· Prepare financial reports and analysis for Management.
· Maintain accounting records updated according to applicable regulations.
· Follow up on requirements from tax and government authorities.
· Implement financial and administrative internal controls.
· Supervise accounting and administrative staff.
· Participate in accounting processes related to inventory, manufacturing costs, and production operations.
Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
· Professional license preferred.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar positions.
· Experience in manufacturing companies.
· Knowledge of general, fiscal, and financial accounting.
· Knowledge of ISR, VAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, payroll tax, and REPSE regulations.
· Knowledge of manufacturing costs and inventory management.
· Experience using ERP accounting systems and administrative software.
· Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
· Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
