We are seeking a Senior Test Automation Engineer (Java) to support automation testing for a financial management platform currently in the development phase. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to building an automation framework from the ground up, as the project is transitioning from manual to automated testing.
Responsibilities

Write functional, integration, and acceptance test cases

Automate test cases for regression, functional, and smoke testing

Plan and execute automation tasks while ensuring testing standards are followed within the team

Integrate test cycles with the DevOps pipeline

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues creatively and efficiently

Automate testing for backend services (REST APIs) and frontend
-
Document and report defects
-
Manage test data and test environments
-
Maintain test script version management
Requirements
-
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a similar field; Master's degree preferred

5+ years of work experience in Quality Assurance, with at least 3+ years in test automation development or a combination of development and testing experience

Proficiency in Java
-
Background in REST and SOAP API testing, preferably with SOAPUI and Groovy scripting

Expertise in Selenium or similar tools, along with Cucumber
-
Capability to create and maintain automation scripts to ensure information systems services and programs meet acceptance criteria

Familiarity with Agile methodology

Skills in functional, integration, and regression testing, including writing unit tests for robustness, edge cases, usability, and general reliability

Knowledge of manual testing on a good level

Competency in integrating test suites with CI/CD pipelines

Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills

Excellent communication and documentation skills, with client-facing experience

English proficiency at B2 level or higher
