Job Description:
What are we looking for?
- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of experience in Accounts Receivable, Cash Application, Collections, or Order-to-Cash operations.
- Previous experience leading teams in a shared services or multinational environment preferred.
- Strong understanding of AR processes, credit management, cash application, and collection strategies.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, JDE, or similar platforms.
- Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel, reporting tools, and process automation solutions.
What will be your key responsibilities?
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of collections and cash application specialists, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
- Oversee daily collections activities to minimize overdue receivables and improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
- Monitor customer accounts, analyze aging reports, and implement collection strategies to reduce delinquency and bad debt exposure.
- Ensure accurate and timely cash application, payment reconciliation, and resolution of unapplied cash.
- Establish performance metrics, monitor KPIs, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, Credit, Finance, and external customers to resolve disputes impacting payment collection.
- Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to Accounts Receivable.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, SOX requirements, and audit standards.
- Identify process improvement and automation opportunities to enhance efficiency and scalability.
- Prepare and present operational performance reports, collection forecasts, and risk assessments to management.
