Virtual Medical Assistant (Remote – Mexico)
Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, professional, and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Assistant to join our growing healthcare team. This is a fully remote position for candidates residing in Mexico.
The ideal candidate has previous experience working remotely and understands that a work-from-home position requires the same level of professionalism, accountability, reliability, and productivity as an in-office role. We are looking for someone who takes ownership of their responsibilities, follows through on tasks, communicates effectively, and consistently delivers high-quality work.
This position requires excellent customer service skills, strong communication abilities, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team. Previous experience as a medical assistant, healthcare administrative assistant, virtual assistant, secretary, receptionist, patient coordinator, or customer service representative is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Make outbound calls to patients and answer inbound calls professionally and courteously.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments.
- Accurately document patient interactions and maintain detailed notes in electronic systems.
- Follow established workflows and procedures while ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providers, and team members.
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities throughout the day.
- Update patient information and maintain accurate records.
- Assist with administrative and patient-care coordination activities.
- Escalate urgent concerns appropriately to supervisors or providers.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with company policies and procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service and create a positive patient experience.
- Participate in team meetings and collaborate with coworkers to ensure all assigned tasks are completed efficiently.
Qualifications
- Must reside in Mexico.
- Fluent English required, both spoken and written.
- Previous experience in a remote position is strongly preferred.
- Previous experience in healthcare, medical offices, customer service, administrative support, secretarial work, or virtual assistance preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Exceptional note-taking and documentation abilities.
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working with technology, online platforms, and electronic medical records.
- Professional phone etiquette and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Stable internet connection and dedicated workspace suitable for remote work.
- Comfortable managing workload independently, meeting deadlines, and maintaining productivity while working from home.

Pay: $26,000.00 - $34,000.00 per month
