The Opportunity
We are seeking experienced Mechanical, Electrical, and Controls Design Engineers to join our growing engineering team in Chihuahua City, Mexico. These roles will play a critical part in designing and supporting world-class power transformer solutions across multiple product lines.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical, electrical, and control systems for power transformers and related equipment
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Quality teams
- Create and review engineering drawings, schematics, and technical documentation
- Support product customization based on customer specifications and project requirements
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to design efficiency, cost, and manufacturability
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and internal quality processes
- Provide technical support during production, testing, and field service activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in design engineering (power transformers or heavy electrical equipment preferred)
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, electrical design, and/or control systems (PLC/HMI)
- Experience with CAD tools and engineering design software
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
