ROLE & RESPONSABILITIES:
Implementation and introduction of new technologies at the Querétaro site.
Managing and developing new automation and control projects. Experience with MES systems, OEE and programming languages.
Knowledge of continuous improvement tools, introduction of new platforms, traceability systems, knowledge of Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC programming, Keyence vision systems, SQL programming, Ignition programming, and SAP ERP management.
TECHNICAL SKILLS:
Siemens: TIA Portal, Sinumerik, Sinamics, Step 7, IPCs
Allen Bradley: Studio 5000, FTView, CCW.
Robots: FANUC, ABB
Ignition, SQL
Proficiency in PLC languages (e.g. Ladder, Structured), HMI (Human-Machine Interface) and SCADA configuration, Robots
Knowledge of electrical circuits, motors, sensors and actuators.
Use of measuring instruments, PID loops and process control.
Knowledge of communication protocols (e.g. Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
Ability to diagnose, repair and optimize faults in automated systems.
Ability to read electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic diagrams.
SOFT SKILLS
Analytical approach to resolving critical faults under pressure and minimising downtime.
Rigorous approach to software/hardware implementation and debugging.
Openness to new technologies, artificial intelligence and digital tools.
Strong sense of responsibility in adhering to industrial safety standards.
Collaboration with maintenance and production staff and engineering staff.
Proactive approach to improving existing processes
Ability to plan and carry out monitoring tasks on high-impact projects
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree related to the area
3+ years of experience
Technical and conversational English, essential for understanding manuals and software.
