Responsibilities

Own decisions for frontend architecture, including component structure, state management, TypeScript standards, and performance

Implement spec-driven development practices so features begin with a spec and delivery stays traceable back to it

Provide technical leadership through code review, frontend standards, and mentoring of engineers

Integrate ELK entities into the Backstage catalog

Build Backstage extensions and templates and implement render scripts

Create a capability to run Terraform scripts

Integrate JIRA Service Desk capabilities into Backstage

Add Jenkins/CICD capabilities into Backstage
-
Collaborate independently across distributed, cross-functional teams
Requirements
-
Extensive experience of 5+ years building Node.js backend systems

Expert-level TypeScript skills for scalable, maintainable codebases

Proven experience with cloud platforms, application hosting, and deployment pipelines

Clear ability to operate autonomously with distributed, cross-functional teams

Strong proficiency using AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Claude Code, including Agents, Skills, MCP, and productivity-focused AI workflows

English proficiency at B2+ (Upper-Intermediate) level or above
Nice to have

Familiarity with GitHub Copilot AI-assisted development, including agents, skills, and MCP

Experience with spec-driven development frameworks such as SpecKit or BMAD

Background in developer portals, platform engineering, or internal tooling

Knowledge of ELK Stack
