IT Business Partner / IT Manager Automotive Manufacturing
We are looking for an IT leader who understands the manufacturing businessnot just technology. If you have experience managing an industrial ERP, understand how Production, Materials, Planning, Inventory, and Finance interact, and have a strong background in IT infrastructure and technology projects, this is an opportunity to make a direct impact on the operations of a global automotive company. In this role, you will drive the plant's digital transformation, ensuring that every technology solution contributes to a more efficient, reliable, and competitive manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities

Administer the QAD ERP system and ensure it effectively supports manufacturing operations.

Identify and resolve issues affecting Production, Materials, Planning, Inventory, and Finance.

Manage the company's IT infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Fortinet firewalls, Cisco Meraki networking, servers, and databases.

Lead digital transformation and continuous improvement initiatives aligned with business objectives.

Analyze operational processes and implement technology solutions that improve productivity, efficiency, and operational control.

Manage technology vendors, contracts, software licenses, and specialized service providers.

Ensure business continuity, cybersecurity, and the availability of critical systems.

Administer databases and business-critical applications.

Troubleshoot high-priority IT incidents and ensure timely and permanent resolution.

Plan and execute technology projects that support manufacturing and business operations.
Key Requirements

Advanced conversational English (mandatory).
-
Willingness to relocate to San Juan del Río, Querétaro.

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Proven experience leading an IT function within a manufacturing environment.

Hands-on experience administering QAD or a similar manufacturing ERP (SAP, Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Plex, etc.).

Practical knowledge of Production, Materials Management, Production Planning, Inventory, and Logistics processes.

Strong understanding of MRP, Bills of Materials (BOM), and Production Orders.

Experience managing IT infrastructure, including Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, SQL/MySQL/Progress databases, Fortinet firewalls, and Cisco Meraki networking.

Experience managing technology vendors, IT budgets, and strategic technology projects.
