Digital Marketing & Growth Specialist
We're looking for a talented Digital Marketing & Growth Specialist to join our team at Programming Journeys, a STEM education startup offering coding, robotics, engineering, and AI programs for K–12 students. You'll play a key role in helping us grow our online presence, increase student enrollment, and develop marketing strategies that connect with parents, schools, and communities.
This is a hands-on marketing role focused on social media strategy, content planning, trend research, performance analysis, and digital advertising management. This is not a content creator or graphic design position.
Position Details:
Location: Remote (Mexico)
Schedule: Part-Time (20 hours per week)
Employment Type: Part-Time
Compensation: $650 USD/month
Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy & Growth
- Develop and execute social media growth strategies across multiple platforms
- Analyze social media performance and identify opportunities to increase engagement, reach, and conversions
- Research trends, emerging content formats, and marketing opportunities relevant to our audience
- Monitor competitors and identify successful strategies that can be adapted for Programming Journeys
- Identify opportunities to grow our audience and improve overall social media performance
Content Planning & Video Development
- Develop content ideas and campaign concepts that support enrollment and brand awareness
- Write scripts and creative briefs for promotional, educational, and social media videos
- Collaborate with the video production and publishing teams to ensure content aligns with marketing objectives
- Recommend improvements based on content performance and audience engagement
Digital Advertising
- Manage and optimize Meta Ads campaigns (Facebook and Instagram)
- Manage and optimize Google Ads campaigns
- Monitor campaign performance, budgets, and key performance indicators
- Continuously test and optimize advertising campaigns to improve results and reduce costs
- Track lead generation and conversion performance
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare performance reports and provide actionable recommendations
- Analyze audience behavior and marketing trends
- Measure campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Experience managing social media accounts for a business, organization, or brand
- Experience managing or contributing to social media accounts with 10,000+ followers/subscribers
- Experience with Meta Business Suite and Meta Ads Manager
- Experience managing Google Ads campaigns
- Strong understanding of social media analytics and digital marketing metrics
- Experience developing marketing strategies and content plans
- Strong writing skills and ability to create engaging video scripts
- Ability to identify trends and transform insights into actionable marketing initiatives
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Intermediate or advanced English proficiency
