Summary
The EHS Technician supports the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability programs. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and corporate requirements, promotes a safe and healthy workplace, protects the environment, and supports the organization's sustainability and ESG objectives.

Conduct routine safety inspections to identify hazards and unsafe conditions.

Track and follow up on corrective and preventive actions resulting from audits, inspections, and incident investigations.

Participate in accident, incident, and near-miss investigations, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions.

Support the implementation of occupational health, industrial safety, and ergonomics programs.

Verify compliance with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.

Maintain accurate health and safety records and documentation.

Deliver safety training and orientation programs for employees, contractors, and visitors.

Assist in emergency preparedness activities, drills, and response initiatives.

Monitor compliance with environmental regulations, permits, and company standards.

Track and maintain environmental performance metrics related to waste, water, energy consumption, and emissions.

Support the proper management, storage, and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

Assist with internal and external environmental audits.

Promote pollution prevention and environmental stewardship initiatives.

Support the deployment of the company's sustainability strategy and initiatives.

Monitor and report sustainability metrics, including energy usage, water consumption, waste generation, recycling rates, and greenhouse gas emissions.

Identify opportunities to reduce environmental impact and improve resource efficiency.

Coordinate employee engagement and awareness campaigns related to sustainability.

Support projects focused on carbon footprint reduction, circular economy practices, and resource conservation.

Collect and validate data required for sustainability and ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting.

Assist in achieving corporate sustainability goals and environmental certifications.

Support the maintenance and continuous improvement of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management systems.

Prepare documentation and records for internal, external, and regulatory audits.

Maintain EHS procedures, work instructions, and records.

Assist in monitoring changes to applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
