RESPONSABILITIES
- Serve as BOE’s single point of contact for quality matters at the customer’s facilities in North America.
- Establish and lead a mechanism for regular on-site quality meetings, fostering customer relationships and retention.
- Lead the analysis, re-evaluation, and determination of responsibility for field failures (PHR), reducing after-sales costs and response times.
- Address the client’s quality data analysis requirements and present the results in formal meetings and reports
- Support new product introductions (NPI) and regulatory requirements in coordination with the client.
- Conduct preventive analysis of finished product market failures and communicate improvements to the plant and engineering teams.
- Coordinate the resolution of quality incidents at the client’s site and at VMI warehouses.
- Monitor online product ratings and reviews and drive action on detected quality signals.
- Respond quickly to on-site contingencies and report progress to the plant in Tijuana and to headquarters in China.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 3 years or more of experience in quality control, repair, or failure analysis of televisions or finished electronic products.
- Advanced English (C1) required — daily verbal and written communication with customers.
- Advanced Spanish — direct coordination with production, quality control, and the warehouse at the Tijuana plant.
- Knowledge of the operating model of OEM/ODM television plants serving North American customers, with proven experience in independent account management.
- Proficiency in failure analysis tools: 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram; advanced Excel skills and the ability to prepare executive reports.
- Valid legal authorization to work in the United States (permanent residency, citizenship, or other authorization), or eligibility for a TN visa under the USMCA with a degree and professional license in engineering.
- Availability to work 2 to 3 days per week at the client’s facilities in Irvine and to visit the plant in Tijuana 2 to 4 times a month; valid driver’s license.
- Availability for international travel (Mexico and China) up to 30% of the time.

Experience in Chinese-owned manufacturing companies or in Mexico–U.S. cross-border supply chains · SENTRI or Global Entry status · Experience as a supplier to Walmart, Sam’s Club, Target, or Costco · Knowledge of SAP or PLM; UL, FCC, or Energy Star certifications.
