About the role
As a FP&A Specialist, you will be responsible for driving financial performance and supporting operational decision‑making within a manufacturing environment. This role plays a key part in financial reporting, forecasting, planning, and factory performance analysis. You will partner closely with plant operations and functional teams to provide insights, track productivity, and support capital investment decisions.
Key Responsibilities
As a FP&A Specialist, you’ll be responsible for:
Leading the plant FP&A function, including financial reporting, monthly forecasting, and annual planning processes
Assisting in the month‑end close process, with a strong focus on factory results and performance
Analyzing factory performance, including projections and sensitivity analysis
Managing the capital expenditure (CAPEX) request process and overseeing investment analysis
Partnering with project managers to accurately forecast capital spend
Supporting capitalization and depreciation processes
Managing labor productivity reviews and tracking operational efficiency
Engaging with local stakeholders to understand plant performance and provide financial insights, risks, and opportunities
Partnering with cross‑functional teams to drive productivity improvements and achieve factory targets
Requirements
We are looking for people who are analytical, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment, with strong business partnering skills. If this sounds like you, we’d love to hear from you.
As a minimum you must have:
3+ years of financial experience
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills and strong PowerPoint capabilities
Experience managing CAPEX, OPEX, and capitalization processes
Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have:
1+ years of manufacturing or plant finance experience
Knowledge of SAP / S4HANA and HFM systems
Experience in financial modeling, forecasting, and operational analysis
