PeopleSoft Lead
Location: Remote – Mexico
Salary: Up to $85,000 MXN Gross per Month
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Lead with a minimum of 6 years of hands-on experience supporting and administering PeopleSoft environments. This role is responsible for application support, system administration, environment management, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and ensuring the stability of enterprise PeopleSoft platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1, L2, and L3 support for PeopleSoft applications, including incident management and ticket resolution.
- Perform maintenance activities, including Oracle certificate installation and PeopleSoft/CPU patch updates.
- Execute project migrations using the STAT migration tool.
- Manage incidents and service requests using Jira or similar ticketing systems.
- Administer and troubleshoot Application Servers, Process Scheduler Domains, and Web Server Domains.
- Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Elasticsearch.
- Apply Oracle-delivered bug fixes using Change Assistant.
- Perform performance tuning for application, web, and process scheduler servers.
- Debug, trace, and troubleshoot PeopleSoft environments across cloud platforms.
- Support Oracle database backup management and assist with database performance tuning.
- Configure and support Integration Broker and Single Sign-On (SSO).
- Configure clustering, load balancing, and failover for PeopleSoft environments.
- Perform environment refreshes, including file servers and recreation of Application, Web, and Process Scheduler domains.
- Collaborate with development teams on impact analysis for patches, packages, and PeopleTools metadata.
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly health checks to ensure system stability.
- Generate security access reports across multiple environments.
- Create and maintain environment catalogs and technical documentation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience supporting and administering PeopleSoft environments.
- Strong experience with PeopleTools Administration.
- Experience applying Oracle patches, CPUs, and maintenance packs.
- Hands-on experience with STAT, Change Assistant, and Jira.
- Strong knowledge of Integration Broker, Single Sign-On (SSO), and PeopleSoft architecture.
- Experience supporting Oracle databases, including backup management and performance tuning.
- Experience configuring clustering, load balancing, and high-availability environments.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
