NORIS Specialist
Objective
Responsible for supporting and developing Nemak’s NORIS data acquisition, reporting, and analysis systems to ensure reliable plant operations, data integrity, and manufacturing process visibility. The role drives digital solutions that improve productivity, traceability, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
Main Responsibilities
Maintain NORIS master data and ensure data accuracy across systems.
Ensure consistency between NORIS and SAP data and troubleshoot discrepancies.
Design and maintain data architectures that support operational and business requirements.
Execute annual NORIS Scorecard assessments for assigned plants.
Develop reports and dashboards using NORIS and other manufacturing systems.
Support problem-solving and visual management through data analytics.
Identify opportunities for process improvement using smart technologies and digital solutions.
Gather and define business requirements for continuous improvement projects.
Plan, develop, and implement new NORIS functionalities and enhancements.
Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to drive NORIS initiatives and manufacturing digitalization.
Position Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Technology, Information Technology, or related field.
Advanced English.
2–3 years of relevant experience in manufacturing systems, automation, digitalization, or industrial IT environments.
Experience working with manufacturing data, reporting systems, and process improvement initiatives.
Technical Skills: Programming, Automation and PLC systems, Data acquisition and reporting systems, SAP data integration and troubleshooting, Data analytics and visualization, Manufacturing systems and digitalization, Project Management.
Soft Skills: Communication and presentation skills, Collaboration and teamwork, Innovation mindset, Negotiation skills, Problem-solving and analytical thinking.
