We are seeking an IATF Technical Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end technical operations process supporting IATF 16949 certification activities. This role ensures compliance with IATF scheme requirements, drives adherence to defined turnaround times, and maintains the integrity, consistency, competency, and efficiency of technical reviews and certification decisions. The position requires a qualified IATF auditor with strong operational, analytical, and people management capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all technical operations activities comply with IATF 16949 rules, accreditation requirements, and internal procedures
- Maintain deep knowledge of IATF scheme expectations, including reporting timelines and review requirements
- Support readiness for internal office and accreditation assessments
- Identify bottlenecks, delays, and process inefficiencies impacting cycle times
- Implement corrective and preventive actions when targets are not met
- Oversee technical review and certification decision workflows
- Analyze trends and recommend process improvements
- Ensure technical reviewers and certification decision personnel maintain required scheme competencies
- Plan and execute annual calibration activities for technical reviewers to ensure consistency, accuracy, and scheme compliance
- Ensure alignment between audit completion, report submission, and technical review timelines
- Monitor performance, productivity, and quality of assigned team members
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and process reliability
- Support additional technical operations and scheme-related activities as required
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Advanced English is a must
- 5+ years of experience with similar roles
- International Automotive Task Force (IATF) certification (Green Status in ADP) with corresponding ID Number 4-ADP xx-xx-xxxx
- Strong understanding of IATF rules, certification processes, and accreditation requirements
- A university degree in a field such as science, engineering, technology, manufacturing, or related area
- Lead Auditor Certificates and Audit Logs in applicable standards
- Ability to train others in quality assurance, quality control, and quality systems assessment
- Excellent interpersonal skills, effective in relating to clients and staff
- Strong writing, reading and oral communications skills
- Capable of working effectively both in team environments and independently
- Ability to organize and write quality system assessment reports
- Meet the Lead Auditor qualifications described in the latest version of ISO 19011
- Experience in a certification body or TIC environment
- Leadership or people management experience
- Experience working with dashboards, reporting tools, and operational metrics
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
