Job summary
The Maintenance Coordinator is responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities for production equipment and plant facilities. This role ensures equipment reliability, minimizes downtime, and supports operational efficiency while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards within an automotive manufacturing environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities and supervise maintenance technicians. - Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs. - Ensure timely troubleshooting and repair of equipment failures. - Monitor maintenance KPIs - Manage work orders and maintenance schedules. - Coordinate external contractors and service providers when required. - Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality regulations. - Participate in root cause analysis (RCA), 5 Why’s, and corrective action implementation. - Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and plant performance. - Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure availability of critical components. - Coordinate maintenance activities during planned production shutdowns. - Work closely with Production, Quality, Engineering, and EHS departments to ensure operational continuity. - Prepare maintenance reports, performance analyses, and technical documentation. - Train and support maintenance personnel development.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering, or related field. - 3–5 years of maintenance experience in automotive or manufacturing industry. - Previous experience coordinating technical teams - Advanced English
