We are searching for a DevOps Engineer with Python to join our team supporting the evolution of an advanced legal technology application. The product leverages cutting-edge AI and machine learning to build solutions for legal professionals, helping them work more efficiently and provide higher-quality representation to more clients. In this mixed Dev (70%) and Ops (30%) role, you will contribute to a centralized AI Assistant service leveraged enterprise-wide and help create a Generative AI Platform through a common AI skill creation framework.
Responsibilities

Assist in migrating internal Docker images and their dependents from GCR to Artifact Registry

Upgrade Docker images and application dependencies

Help address vulnerabilities in Python applications

Support audits and updates of privileges and cloud service configurations using Terraform and Terragrunt

Participate in GCP to AWS migration and Disaster Recovery game
Requirements
-
2+ years of professional, production-level ops experience
-
Working knowledge of Python
-
Hands-on experience with AWS and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service

Background in Docker and Kubernetes
Basic understanding of Auth concepts, with the ability to implement or fix items under guidance (OnePass- Azure B2C CIAM migration)

Low ego, collaborative but self-starting, and an effective communicator

Good English communication skills (B1+ level or higher)
Nice to have

Exposure to AWS CloudFormation, SOC2, and Jenkins

Familiarity with Terraform, Terragrunt, and Helm

Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

Experience with backing up and restoring PostgreSQL and Elasticsearch clusters

Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a similar field
