Responsibilities

Performs intermediate calculations under the supervision of a more senior engineer. Solves problems using well established scientific principles.

Conducts routine technical assignments with some oversight from experienced personnel.

Develops small to mid-size project or proposals.

Works with designers to develop engineering and design documents as needed for the project.

Prepare pipe stress deliverables such as final stress reports calculations, nozzle loads check, and other specialty documentation related to the area are in accordance with industry codes, contract requirements.
Recognizes, troubleshoots and resolves design constraints and issues. Applies economic analysis to determine best cost solutions.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.

+8 years of experience in stress analysis related with utilities, BOP in Oil & Gas, Water & Industrial projects.

Proficiency in stress analysis software such as Caesar II, Autopipe,
- Experience in 3D model navigation computer programs as Naviswork and UPV.

Knowledge of relevant codes and standards B31.1, B31.3, B31.4 and B31.8.
