Position Tittle: Launch Manager
Reports to: Director Advanced Manufacturing
Work Location: Arteaga, Coahuila, Mexico
Manage new product introduction (NPI) launch activities to ensure efficient and on-time project execution. Analyze and validate project budgets, manufacturing costs, labor allocation, and the design and implementation of manufacturing systems to meet corporate quality standards. Provide leadership and direction to cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of new programs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the Engineering Department to ensure the successful, on-time launch of new programs while supporting business profitability.
- Drive Lean Manufacturing initiatives and implement efficient manufacturing processes aligned with corporate objectives.
- Oversee new program launch activities, ensuring milestones are met, risks are mitigated, and expedited costs are minimized.
- Validate manufacturing processes to achieve targets for Quality, Safety, Cost, Productivity, Ergonomics, and Environmental Compliance.
- Lead continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives across manufacturing operations.
- Maintain and update manufacturing processes, documentation, and PLEX system records as required.
- Manage customer-driven and internal engineering changes to prevent obsolescence and maintain plant performance.
- Coordinate customer validation trials and collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop robust, high-productivity manufacturing systems.
- Support problem-solving activities by driving innovation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Develop, coach, and train the engineering team to ensure operational excellence and effective execution of departmental goals.
- Promote the highest standards of quality, productivity, safety, health, and environmental compliance, ensuring all company policies and programs are effectively implemented throughout the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Preferred: 5–8 years of experience in a similar Engineering Management role within a manufacturing environment.

- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Master's degree (preferred)
