As a Sr Continuous Improvement Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in enhancing manufacturing processes and the Quality Management System at Breg by applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies and leading improvement initiatives across the organization.
What You’ll Do
As a Sr Continuous Improvement Quality Engineer you will:
- Lead and implement process improvements to increase productivity, reduce waste, and enhance product quality using Lean Six Sigma tools.
- Analyze manufacturing and quality data to identify trends, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor KPIs and quality metrics to ensure compliance with performance and regulatory standards.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes and support new product transfers.
- Conduct process and workflow analyses to optimize efficiency.
- Ensure process changes are properly documented, validated, and communicated.
- Act as a Lean Six Sigma practitioner and change agent.
- Coach and mentor teams on continuous improvement methodologies.
- Promote and model Breg’s culture of accountability and professional behavior.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in industrial engineering, continuous improvement, or a related role.
- Experience in regulated environments, preferably within the medical device industry.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR Part 820, and MDSAP requirements.
- Strong expertise in Lean Six Sigma tools applied to manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and statistical analysis skills.
- Experience coaching or training teams in continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and project management skills.
- Strong focus on manufacturing operations improvement.
- Advanced or fluent English proficiency required.
