About Us: Sprout Academia LLC is a growing online education company that delivers engaging live classes designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and lifelong learning in children aged 6–18. We are looking for a creative, energetic, and reliable instructor to teach beginner Spanish Art classes while helping us grow our Spanish program over time.
Position Overview: We are seeking a Spanish-speaking instructor to teach beginner Spanish Art classes online for children.
Students have little or no Spanish knowledge, so classes are taught primarily in English while naturally introducing Spanish vocabulary and simple conversational phrases through guided drawing and creative activities.
This role may begin with a limited number of classes while we continue growing enrollment and expanding our Spanish program. We are looking for someone interested in growing with Sprout Academia long-term and potentially teaching additional Spanish, art, or game-based classes as new opportunities become available.
Responsibilities:
- Teach live online Spanish Art classes for children.
- Guide students through beginner-friendly drawing projects.
- Introduce Spanish vocabulary and simple conversational phrases naturally throughout each lesson.
- Create engaging lesson plans using our curriculum and teaching resources.
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive classroom environment.
- Communicate professionally with parents and the Sprout Academia team when needed.
- Complete lesson notes and other teaching-related responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Permanent resident of Mexico.
- Native or fluent Spanish speaker.
- English Fluency: Minimum C1-level English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Experience teaching or working with children.
- Comfortable leading beginner drawing and art activities.
- Passion for creativity and making learning fun.
- Reliable computer, webcam, microphone, and internet connection.
- Professional remote teaching environment.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time responsibly.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and platform application.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience teaching Spanish as a second language.
- Experience teaching online.
- Experience creating lesson plans.
- Strong interest in art, drawing, and creative projects.
- Familiarity with Minecraft.
- Interested in teaching creative, game-based classes in the future.
Compensation & Schedule:
- Pay ranges from MX$150–MX$300 per session, depending on the type and duration of the class.
- Schedule is based on student enrollment and available class sections.
- Additional classes may become available as enrollment grows.
- Biweekly payment schedule.
Reliability & Professionalism: Instructors must be dependable, prepared, and able to communicate proactively about availability or scheduling conflicts.
