Oversees manufacturing process based on specific technologies (Balancing, Assembly, Machining, Welding) by developing and executing, new product & process launching strategies, continuous improvement strategies based on AOP and growth projections for the site.
Responsible to maintain updated the documentation of the processes.
Responsible to develop, audit, follow and keep updated PFMEA and processes standards based on manufacturing documentation
Responsible for OEE, FPY and RTY improvement thru planning and execution of improvement strategies and execution.
Development and execution of continuous improvement strategies for specific technology (Assembly, Balancing, Welding, Machining) based on AOP capital, and budgets.
Responsible for the layout design and material flow for one or several production cells.
Responsible to implement the lean principles and use Six Sigma tools in the cells such like; one-piece flow, takt time, line balancing, standard work etc. on a team approach with the supervisor and shop floor personnel.
Responsible to follow up CAPEX and OPEX plant projects.
Support Layout modification or improvement activities.
Adherence on GEM standards and procedures and support initiatives.
Responsible of quick kaizen, Kaizen events & knowledge sharing to ensure Continuous Improvement throughout the process
Partner with maintenance Eng. /Technician for trouble shooting analysis for key/critical equipment
Supervise Manufacturing specialists or Engineers in related areas
Adherence on HSE Procedures and support initiatives.
Improve processes controls for Quality and productivity, Poka Yoke design and implementation.
Define Tooling maintenance and administration for the cell, expert in line set ups.
Responsible to support the training and operator’s certification in the identified critical process.
Lead line efficiency and improvement efforts (projects, pph, throughput, etc.).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree on Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineering.
- +1 year minimum experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Continuous Improvement or Project Management.
- Experience with Plant wide project, example: Layout change, new machinery & Equipment implementation, new machinery & Equipment upgrade
- English 80%
- Core tools (APQP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, CP, PPAP)
- IAFT 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 45001, ISO 50001, QCI-15, QCI-9 (preferred)
- Knowledge in the use of equipment’s and tools of the related areas (i.e. welding, machining, balancing, assembly).
- Ability to develop implement and follow up plant projects.
- Capable of follow up activities according to the plant procedures.
- Drawing and specification understanding (PI, QCI).
