ABB RobotStudio Simulation Engineer

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced ABB RobotStudio Simulation Engineer to join our team in Monterrey. In this role, you will play a critical part in developing, simulating, and optimizing automated manufacturing cells for the automotive industry, specifically focusing on Body-in-White (BIW) applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and validate robotic simulation cells using ABB RobotStudio and Process Simulate.
- Perform offline programming (OLP) and cycle time optimization for various robot controllers, with a primary focus on ABB, alongside KUKA, Kawasaki, and Fanuc.
- Create and modify 3D layouts, tooling, and kinematics using DELMIA, AutoCAD, and CATIA.
- Collaborate with controls and mechanical engineering teams to support virtual and on-site commissioning.
- Troubleshoot simulation models, validate reachability, detect collisions, and ensure compliance with automotive safety and manufacturing standards.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on professional experience in automotive manufacturing and robotic simulation, specifically within BIW (Body Shop) environments.
- Deep technical expertise in ABB Robotics, robot programming, and automation workflows.
- Advanced proficiency in ABB RobotStudio and Process Simulate.
- Strong working knowledge of CAD and digital manufacturing tools: DELMIA, AutoCAD, and CATIA.
- Proven track record in offline programming (OLP) and system commissioning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in an on-site team environment in Monterrey.
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $25,000.00 - $40,000.00 per month
