The Retail Support Manager Facilities & Maintenance is responsible for leading and optimizing all aspects of facilities management and maintenance across the region. This role ensures operational excellence in the upkeep of all retail locations, direct ly contributing to enhanced client experience through well maintained and functional environments. The manager will collaborate closely with store management teams, regional teams, and corporate departments to ensure adherence to standards and efficient re source utilization for all facility related matters
Drive Operational Excellence in Facilities & Maintenance • Oversee and manage all maintenance and repairs (M&R) for the region, developing and implementing strategies for the preservation of stores. • Implement and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure operational stability and minimize disruptions. • Conduct regular facility inspections to anticipate potential failures and implement preventive actions to minimize economic impact. • Manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets for maintenance, working closely with Finance, VM, and GM • Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations in all facilities, as well as managing licenses and legal permits. • Coordinate with Store Planning and Maintenance on new openings, renovations, and minor workflow repairs. • Partner with the OPS manager & AP Department to reduce potential loss Strengthen and Support Policy & Procedure Compliance • Ensure all facility related operations comply with company policies and procedures. • Drive audit compliance with the Internal • Control team for all facility and maintenance records. Purchasing Coordination for Facilities • Support procurement, vendor relationship management, and payment processes specifically for facilities and maintenance services with a proper budgeting. • Request creation and modification of vendors related to facility services. • Review Store Managers/RPD requests for on demand purchases and emergencies related to facilities, obtaining quotations and estimates from vendors and budgets optimization. • Work with the RPD to ensure facility related expenses are within budgets. GM Support (Facilities Focus) • Assist the GM with facility related matters, including office maintenance, repair, and replacement of damaged fixtures/furniture. • Maintain communication with office property management to ensure facilities are optimal. • Partner with Asset Protection and/or office management to set up new regional employees with necessary facility access. Project Management (Facilities Focus) • Lead and manage store remodeling projects, new projects, and special projects from conception to completion, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets, and quality standards for all facility related aspects. • Protect the continuity of store operations during Store Planning projects, minimizing disruptions and impacts related to facilities. • Collaborate with Store Planning to provide operational support for key projects such as retrofits, soft retrofits, new stores, and minor works, ensuring all facility requirements are met. • Identify and evaluate new opportunities for expansion and improvement of the network from a facilities perspective. • Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and contractors for successful facility project execution.
