As a member of the Freight Forwarding team Kuehne+Nagel, you will play a key role in transporting goods, optimising processes, and fulfilling our customers' promises. - Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers, ensuring effective communication and high service satisfaction.
- Coordinate import and export services based on agreed Working Instructions (WI) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Ensure accurate execution and follow-up of operational tasks within internal systems.
- Lead communication with origin and destination offices to ensure smooth shipment coordination.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with KPIs, service levels, and operational standards.
- Support implementation and re-implementation of customer accounts, ensuring proper setup and alignment with requirements.
- Develop and maintain up-to-date SOPs and WI documentation for assigned accounts.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations (OCC), finance, pricing, and sales teams to deliver seamless service.
- Manage customer relationships, including support for house accounts and identification of commercial opportunities.
- Ensure operational profitability and adherence to global and local processes.
Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Industrial Engineering, Transportation, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in international freight coordination, customer service, or logistics operations.
Experience managing customer portfolios and coordinating import/export processes.
Strong knowledge of logistics, incoterms, and customs processes.
Familiarity with shipping documentation and international trade requirements.
Experience working with CRM systems and operational platforms.
Advanced English proficiency (mandatory).
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple stakeholders.
High service orientation, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
