Role Summary
The Pricing Executive Junior is a key role in our team because every piece of business starts with accurate and fast quotes for our customers.
This is an entry-level position, ideal for a recent graduate who enjoys working with numbers, analyzing data and making decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment. You will learn how to build rates, understand market behavior and support our Sales and Operations teams so they can win and protect profitable business.
You will be trained by senior Pricing and Operations team members and will have clear opportunities to grow as you gain experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide freight rates for internal and external customers as fast and accurately as possible.
- Work with our internal systems and tools to input, update and maintain pricing information.
- Support the implementation of pricing decisions and follow up to ensure consistency across systems.
- Organize and analyze data (costs, lanes, provider rates, historical quotes) to support pricing decisions.
- Run basic reports when requested by management (for example: lanes performance, won/lost quotes, margin behavior).
- Help build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and service providers together with senior team members.
- Communicate clearly with Sales and Operations to understand customer needs and timelines.
- Proactively identify obvious errors, inconsistencies or risks in quotes and escalate when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in international Trade, Logistics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of work experience (internships, part-time jobs or university projects are a plus, but not required).
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with numbers (Excel/Google Sheets, basic formulas, percentages, margins).
- Ability to work in a fast-response environment, managing multiple requests and priorities at the same time.
- High attention to detail and discipline to follow processes while meeting tight deadlines.
- Clear and professional communication skills, written and spoken (Spanish required, English intermediate or above preferred).
- Proactive mindset: self-starter, willing to learn every day and ask questions when something is not clear.
- Team player, open to feedback, with a customer‑service attitude toward internal teams.
Preferred Skills (Nice to Have, Not Mandatory)
- Basic knowledge or interest in logistics, transportation or crossborder freight.
- Experience from school projects or internships working with data (reports, dashboards, KPIs).
- Basic understanding of margin, cost and price concepts.
- Familiarity with any TMS, CRM or data tools is a plus (we will train you on our systems).

- Annual remuneration in Canadian Dollars, paid as Independent Service Provider (ISP) to CNN Logistics Canada Inc.
