For your awareness, IFF has announced its intention to sell its Food Ingredients Business to CVC Capital Partners. The sale is presently expected to close in the first half of 2027, pending regulatory approvals and other closing conditions. The Food Ingredients business unit will remain a part of IFF until close and, at such time, it will transition to CVC Capital Partners. The role is based in Tecomán, Colima (onsite) . Be part of a detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative team where you will play a key role in ensuring product quality and compliance within manufacturing operations. Your potential is our inspiration.
Perform analytical evaluation of raw materials, packaging materials, intermediate, and finished products
Execute pass/fail determinations during analytical inspections using defined controls
Conduct confirmatory testing for non-conforming analyses
Generate analytical documentation and accurately record data in systems and databases
Verify, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment
Prepare solutions, reagents, and manage laboratory supplies
Provide timely and reliable analytical information to internal and external customers
Participate in quality alerts, trainings, and continuous improvement initiatives
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Chemistry, or related fields
Experience in quality analysis or production processes (preferred)
Knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory practices
Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP knowledge is a plus
Basic to intermediate English level
Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Results-oriented mindset with good organizational skills
Availability to work rotating shifts (morning, afternoon, and night, 6 days on / 2 days off)
Experience in food, ingredients, or manufacturing environments
Familiarity with quality systems and laboratory standards
Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
