Job Duties and Responsibilities
Our Patient Services Representatives are responsible for making calls to patients to set up an appointment. This position will also explain programs and procedures. Must be Bilingual in Spanish/English.
Responsibilities include:
- Consistently use a professional, courteous approach to facilitate communication with patients.
- Schedule appointments and record reasons for visits on the patient notes in the scheduling software system.
- Inform patients of any preparation or special requirements for their appointments
- Provide travel directions to patients when necessary.
- Verify coverage and benefits through the online process for each appointment.
- Follow established guidelines for the use and/or disclosure of protected health information.
Qualifications
- 1+ year of experience in call center or medical reception.
- Excellent phone presence and communication skills.
- Motivated by targets and performance-based incentives.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Comfortable using multiple software applications and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for helping others.
