Augusta Lawn Care of Baton Rouge is a fast-growing home service company based in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. We help clients with lawn care and related outdoor services, and we are building a highly responsive, organized, and growth-minded office team to support that mission.

About the Role
We are hiring a full-time remote team member to support our office operations, customer service, sales follow-up, and administrative work.
This is not a simple virtual assistant role. This person will play an important part in helping us respond to leads quickly, support existing customers, assist with hiring and marketing admin, and help our office run smoothly.
You will work closely with our Office Manager and leadership team. Over time, this role is expected to grow into even greater responsibility.
Work Schedule
- Tuesday through Saturday
- 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM CDT
- 1-hour lunch break
- 40 hours per week
This schedule is important because it helps us extend phone and inbox coverage and improve our speed to lead.
Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer Service & Sales Support
- Answer inbound phone calls from leads and existing customers
- Return missed calls and follow up on voicemails quickly
- Respond to customer texts and emails
- Quote leads over the phone
- Upsell additional services when appropriate
- Take payments over the phone
- Help resolve customer issues professionally and efficiently
Lead Follow-Up & Outbound Communication
- Call and text new leads as soon as they come in
- Follow up with leads who have not yet booked service
- Reach out to existing customer lists to offer additional services
- Help maintain fast response times across calls, texts, and email
Admin & Operations Support
- Enter and update information in our systems accurately
- Help schedule new clients based on location and route planning
- Send welcome texts and emails to new customers
- Identify and document lead sources
- Record new client conversions for tracking
Door Hanger Marketing Campaign Support
- Assign neighborhoods to door hanger contractors
- Track completed work in Google My Maps and Google Sheets
- Calculate contractor payroll based on completed work
- Review video interview submissions from job applicants
- Reach out to candidates for phone interviews
- Help send next steps to new hires so they can get started
Growth in the Role
As you learn the business, you may also take on additional responsibilities such as:
- Dispatch support
- Follow-up calls
- Service check-in calls
- Assisting field team members with questions
- Other operations and administrative responsibilities

Required Qualifications
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Strong phone communication skills
- Quiet work-from-home setup for professional phone calls
- Reliable high-speed internet
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Comfortable using Google Workspace and learning software systems
- Able to handle multiple tasks and stay calm under pressure
- Available to work the required schedule consistently
Strongly Preferred
- Experience in customer service, phone support, inside sales, or admin support
- Experience working in home services or other service-based businesses
- Familiarity with CRM systems
- Experience with spreadsheets, scheduling, and task tracking
- Has lived in the United States for an extended period of time or has strong familiarity with U.S. communication and customer expectations
Compensation
- Starting pay: $6.25 USD per hour, depending on experience and communication skills
- Paid biweekly via Wise
- Performance-based raises
- Paid time off after 6 months
