The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring product quality and compliance throughout the manufacturing process by identifying, analyzing, and preventing non-conformities. This role plays a key part in driving continuous improvement and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze non-conformity trends to identify recurring failure patterns and implement strategic corrective actions to prevent recurrence in future deliveries.
- Ensure final product compliance by verifying that each unit meets internal quality standards, customer requirements, and applicable industry regulations prior to release.
- Record and report non-conformities detected on the production line, following SIS best practices with a focus on Detectability 1/2.
- Supervise visual and functional inspections on the production line (SDTS and PFS), ensuring proper defect identification and marking during inspection processes.
- Plan and execute training programs for the quality team, focusing on inspection criteria and standardization of evaluation methods.
- Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment, encouraging active team participation in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing product quality, process efficiency, and defect reduction.
Requirements:
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
- Experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis, CAPA, SPC).
- Familiarity with industry standards and quality systems.
- Leadership and team development skills, with experience in training and mentoring personnel.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate clearly.
- Able to hold a fluent english conversation / Presentation.
