Job Description
We are seeking a hands-on Assistant General Manager (AGM) to support the daily operations of a select-service hotel in Texas. This is a hands-on hotel operations role for a strong hospitality professional who can support front office and front desk leadership, guest service, team supervision, property performance, and day-to-day operational follow-through.
The candidate must be comfortable working directly in hotel operations and covering front desk shifts as needed.
Key Responsibilities
· Support daily hotel operations across major departments
· Assist with front desk oversight, guest check-in/check-out standards, and guest issue resolution
· Help supervise staff scheduling, shift coverage, and daily team performance
· Maintain strong guest service standards and support improvements in guest satisfaction
· Assist with room inventory, rate awareness, upselling, and revenue performance
· Help monitor labor, operating costs, and overall property efficiency
· Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness and product quality
· Assist with quality assurance, brand standards, and inspection preparation
· Help manage daily reporting, operational follow-up, and communication with ownership
· Step in as acting manager on duty when required
· Cover front desk shifts and support daily guest-facing operations as needed
Ideal Candidate Profile
· Hotel operations experience is required
· Supervisory or assistant management experience in a hotel environment is preferred
· Strong guest service, communication, and problem-solving skills
· Experience with front desk operations, reservations, and hotel procedures
· Basic understanding of occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and cost controls
· Ability to work in a hands-on, owner-involved operating environment
· Willingness to relocate to Texas, USA
Language Requirement
· English fluency is required
· Spanish is preferred but not required

· Mexican citizenship and a valid passport are preferred for future international hiring review
· Preference will be given to candidates with hotel internship experience and strong hotel operations background
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 36 months
Pay: $35,000.00 - $50,000.00 per month
