Key Responsibilities Warehouse Operations
- Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping operations.
- Ensure timely delivery of raw materials, components, and finished goods to support production schedules and customer requirements.
- Monitor warehouse workflow and allocate resources to meet operational objectives.
- Implement and maintain warehouse procedures, processes, and best practices.
Inventory Management
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation activities.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment activities.
- Ensure compliance with inventory control policies and FIFO/FEFO methodologies where applicable.
Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, develop, and evaluate warehouse personnel, including supervisors, leads, and warehouse associates.
- Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback.
- Coordinate staffing requirements, scheduling, and workload balancing.
- Promote employee engagement, teamwork, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications Education
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Experience
- 5–8+ years of warehouse, logistics, or materials management experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Experience with ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (SAP, Oracle, JDE, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Experience supporting manufacturing production operations.
Technical Skills
- Strong inventory control and material flow management knowledge.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with barcode scanning systems and warehouse automation technologies.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles.
