We are seeking a Senior Platform Software Engineer - Python/AWS to build platform tooling using Python and AWS that improves how engineering teams deliver software. You will create internal APIs, integrate services across platforms, and develop automation that reduces friction for other engineers.
Responsibilities

Design and implement cost tracking systems that integrate with GitHub, Slack, PagerDuty, and Docker

Build and maintain internal APIs using Python and FastAPI

Establish deployment approaches, monitoring standards, and clear API documentation
-
Develop identity management tooling that integrates with Active Directory and Microsoft Entra
-
Lead infrastructure modernization efforts, including CI/CD updates and AWS Lambda configuration
-
Create developer enablement tools such as templates, GitHub Copilot guidance, and browser extensions
-
Implement monitoring and alerting workflows with New Relic
-
Drive company-wide practices that raise and sustain code quality
-
Collaborate with other teams to integrate systems such as Snowflake, SonarQube, and ServiceNow
-
Maintain Terraform codebases for AWS resources including Lambda, ECS, and S3
Requirements
-
Proven software engineering experience (3+ years) with strong Python skills
-
Hands-on experience building REST APIs with FastAPI or Flask
-
Working knowledge of AWS services, including Lambda, ECS, S3, SSM, and API Gateway
-
Practical skills using Terraform for infrastructure-as-code delivery

Experience automating delivery pipelines with GitHub Actions and CI/CD practices

Familiarity with Docker and common container tooling

Solid understanding of identity and access systems such as Active Directory, Azure AD, and SSO
-
Experience with monitoring platforms, especially New Relic
-
Good testing discipline, including unit tests and integration tests

English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) level or higher
Nice to have

Experience with modern Python tooling such as uv, bumpver, Black, and pytest

Background in platform engineering or developer experience (DevEx) work

Experience with GitHub Enterprise administration and webhooks

Familiarity with Snowflake or comparable data platforms

Knowledge of PagerDuty for incident management
