General Description:
The Data Entry Intern is a learning-focused, developmental role designed to provide hands-on exposure to factoring operations and back-office processing in a supportive, supervised environment. This internship prioritizes education, mentorship, and skill development over performance metrics or production output.
The intern will assist with basic data entry and document review activities under direct supervision while learning internal systems, processes, and professional workplace standards. This position is not intended to replace a full-time employee and responsibilities will be adjusted to align with the intern’s academic schedule and learning objectives.
This internship may serve as an entry point into a long-term career path within other departments of the organization, subject to business needs and individual performance .
Duties and Responsibilities:
During the internship, the individual will:
Gain exposure to factoring and back-office operations
Learn data accuracy, documentation standards, and compliance basics
Develop proficiency in internal systems and Microsoft Office tools
Build professional communication and organizational skills
Receive coaching, feedback, and mentorship from leadership
Assist with entering data from invoices and supporting documents into internal systems
Review paperwork for completeness and basic legibility with guidance from team members
Organize and upload documents according to established processes
Support the team with administrative tasks related to invoice processing
Communicate questions or discrepancies to a supervisor for review
Participate in coaching sessions, training, and feedback discussions
