The Brand Manager is responsible for leading the strategic development and execution of the category growth agenda, driving sustainable business results through strong brand building, consumer understanding, and cross-functional leadership with other areas. This role owns local brand strategy and portfolio performance, ensuring the delivery of profitable growth, market share expansion, and superior consumer experiences across channels and touchpoints.
The role requires balancing long-term brand equity building with short-term commercial priorities growing market share targets aligned with BIC’s strategy priorities, transforming insights into actionable growth opportunities while collaborating closely with sales, trade marketing, innovation, finance, consumer insights, and supply chain teams.
Own P&L-related brand performance indicators including sales growth, market share, profitability, penetration, and brand health metrics.
Identify and lead growth opportunities through consumer insights, market trends, competitive intelligence, and data analytics.
Drive innovation pipelines including product launches, renovation initiatives, packaging development, and portfolio optimization at a local level.
Increase mental availability, developing integrated marketing campaigns across media, digital, shopper, retail, and experiential touchpoints.
Minimum qualification required: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline. MBA or postgraduate degree preferred.
Qualifications:
- 5-10 years of progressive marketing experience, preferably within FMCG, consumer goods, retail, or related industries.
- Proven experience in brand management with responsibility for business growth and portfolio management.
- Experience leading integrated marketing initiatives and product innovation projects.
- Strong experience working with cross-functional teams in complex organizations.
- Demonstrated success managing budgets and delivering measurable business impact.
- Advanced English (mandatory).
- Knowledge of digital marketing ecosystems, media effectiveness, and shopper marketing principles.
- Strong analytical capability with experience leveraging market data and consumer insight (Nielsen, Kantar, Euromonitor, Iscam).
- Understanding of financial principles including P&L management and ROI analysis.
