Key Responsibilities
Improving Efficiency & Productivity
- Execute technical training programs that improve line performance, throughput, and adherence to standardized work.
- Support reduction of training-related performance gaps impacting productivity and output.
- Ensure consistent deployment of training plans across production areas.
Enhancing Quality & Compliance
- Deliver training aligned to ISO, internal quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Support reduction of defects, rework, and non-conformances through capability development.
- Maintain audit-ready training records with full traceability.
Driving Cost Reduction & Waste Minimization
- Identify skill gaps contributing to scrap, rework, and inefficiencies at the operational level.
- Support implementation of training actions tied to cost reduction and yield improvement.
- Monitor training impact through defined operational metrics.
Integrating Technology & Digital Learning
- Support deployment of training related to automation, digital tools, and manufacturing systems.
- Utilize LMS and eLearning platforms to deliver scalable and standardized training.
- Assist in adoption of digital learning content and blended training methods.
Building Workforce Readiness & Flexibility
- Coordinate cross-training activities to improve workforce coverage and flexibility.
- Ensure employees are trained and certified for current and upcoming production needs.
- Support reduction in time-to-competency for operators and technicians.
Strengthening Safety & Environmental Compliance
- Deliver safety training aligned to OSHA (or local equivalent), environmental, and internal standards.
- Reinforce safe work practices including PPE, hazard recognition, and machine safety.
- Promote safety awareness and compliance across the training programs.
Training Delivery & Instructor Leadership
- Supervise and coach instructors to ensure effective delivery of training programs.
- Assign training schedules and monitor instructor performance and effectiveness.
- Support Train-the-Trainer certification and instructor capability development.
Learning Systems & Training Administration
- Maintain training records, certifications, and compliance tracking through LMS.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of training data for audits and reporting.
- Manage training materials, tools, and learning environments.
Continuous Improvement & Problem Solving
- Apply continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., RCA, 8D, Kaizen) to improve training effectiveness.
- Gather feedback from operations to refine training programs and delivery methods.
- Support initiatives that enhance training quality, consistency, and business impact.
Performance Management & KPI Alignment
- Align training execution to key operational KPIs (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost).
- Track and report training effectiveness metrics (completion, certification, audit results).
- Provide insights to management to support data-driven decisions.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
· 2+ years of experience in manufacturing, training, or related field.
· 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams.
· Experience delivering technical training in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Education, or related field.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes (electrical, thermal, data center systems).
Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design.
Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and eLearning tools.
Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to analyze data and implement performance improvement actions.
Experience working with SMEs to deliver technical training programs.
Knowledge of Operational Excellence, Lean Manufacturing, or similar methodologies.
This role requires a highly skilled training professional with a strong manufacturing, technical, and instructional background to drive workforce development and continuous improvement.
