Hiraya Experience creates elevated marriage proposals, romantic experiences, intimate weddings, and special celebrations throughout Baja California.
Our work focuses on beautiful execution, emotional storytelling, attention to detail, and creating memorable experiences that translate naturally into strong visual content.
We are looking for someone who can help us consistently capture, create, organize, and publish the stories behind these experiences.
ABOUT THE POSITION
The Social Media & Content Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day execution of Hiraya Experience's social media content.
This is a hybrid position.
The majority of content preparation, editing, scheduling, organization, and social media work can be completed remotely.
The coordinator will also attend selected Hiraya events to capture photos, videos, behind-the-scenes footage, final setups, and client reactions.
This position works directly with the Marketing Manager, who is responsible for the overall marketing strategy, brand direction, campaigns, and priorities.
The Social Media & Content Coordinator is primarily responsible for execution.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES1. Social Media Content Execution
Assist in maintaining Hiraya's presence across:
- Instagram
- Instagram Stories
- TikTok
- Facebook
- Pinterest
Responsibilities include:
- Creating social media content
- Editing short-form videos
- Selecting photos and videos
- Preparing captions
- Preparing posts in advance
- Scheduling approved content
- Publishing content
- Following the approved content calendar
- Maintaining consistency across platforms
- Checking spelling and formatting
- Following Hiraya's visual and brand standards
- Researching relevant trends
- Suggesting creative content ideas
The coordinator is expected to understand that each platform has a different audience and content style.
Content should be adapted accordingly rather than automatically posting the exact same content everywhere.
2. TIKTOKWeekly Target: 6 Pieces of Content
Prepare approximately 6 TikTok videos per week.
Content may include:
- Proposal reveals
- Client reactions
- Before-and-after transformations
- Event setup
- Behind-the-scenes
- Romantic locations
- Venue features
- Proposal ideas
- Wedding inspiration
- Trending sounds
- Storytelling videos
- Educational content
- "POV" content
- Team behind-the-scenes
- Previous Hiraya experiences
TikTok content should be created specifically with the platform in mind.
The coordinator should consider:
- Strong opening hooks
- Video pacing
- Trending sounds
- Text overlays
- Captions
- Storytelling
- Video length
- Current trends
3. FACEBOOKWeekly Target: 5 Pieces of Content
Prepare approximately 5 Facebook posts per week.
Facebook should not simply be an automatic cross-post from Instagram.
Content should be selected and prepared specifically for Facebook's audience.

The same event can be used across platforms, but the presentation, caption, and format should be adapted.

Support the execution of Hiraya's approved Instagram content calendar.
Content may include:
- Reels
- Carousels
- Photos
- Client stories
- Venue features
- Testimonials
- Proposal inspiration
- Weddings
- Romantic experiences
- Behind-the-scenes
- Promotions
All Instagram content should maintain Hiraya's established visual identity.
5. INSTAGRAM STORIES
Instagram Stories should remain active throughout the week.
Stories may include:
- Current events
- Setup progress
- Behind-the-scenes
- Final reveals
- Client reactions
- Available experiences
- Locations
- Testimonials
- Reviews
- Polls
- Questions
- Reposted client content
- Promotions
- Availability
- Previous events
- Team moments
Not every Story needs to be highly produced.
The purpose is to make Hiraya's Instagram presence feel active, authentic, current, and connected to what is happening within the company.
6. PINTEREST
Maintain and grow Hiraya Experience's Pinterest presence.
Responsibilities include:
- Uploading Hiraya photos and videos
- Creating Pins
- Writing searchable titles
- Preparing descriptions
- Using appropriate keywords
- Organizing boards
- Maintaining visual consistency
- Repurposing existing Hiraya content
- Linking Pins to relevant Hiraya pages when provided
Potential Pinterest categories include:
- Marriage Proposal Ideas
- Valle de Guadalupe Proposals
- Rosarito Proposals
- Beach Proposals
- Vineyard Proposals

The goal is to gradually build Pinterest into a searchable visual portfolio of Hiraya's work.
7. WEEKLY CONTENT SUBMISSION & PROOFING
All planned content should be prepared in advance and submitted weekly for review and approval.
The coordinator is responsible for:
- Selecting content
- Editing photos/videos
- Preparing captions
- Checking spelling
- Checking formatting
- Following the content calendar
- Submitting content for approval
- Making requested revisions
- Scheduling/publishing approved content
Content should not regularly be created on the same day it needs to be published.
The expectation is to stay at least one week ahead whenever possible.
8. EVENT CONTENT COVERAGE
The coordinator will attend selected Hiraya events to capture content.
Expected Coverage
Approximately up to 2 selected events per week are included as part of the regular position.
Depending on business needs, additional event coverage may occasionally be requested and discussed separately.
Events may take place in:
- Rosarito
- Tijuana
- Valle de Guadalupe
- Ensenada
- Nearby Baja California locations
Event schedules will vary depending on bookings.
Some events may take place during:
- Weekdays
- Evenings
- Saturdays
- Sundays
For this reason, reasonable flexibility and weekend availability are required.
9. WHAT TO CAPTURE AT EVENTS
Event attendance should be intentional.
The coordinator should capture enough material from each assigned event to create multiple pieces of future content.

The final setup should always be documented while it is clean and untouched.

10. CONTENT ORGANIZATION & DROPBOX
Content organization is an important responsibility of this position.
The coordinator will help maintain Hiraya's Dropbox Content Library.
All assigned event content should be uploaded and organized promptly.
Content should not remain only on personal phones, cameras, computers, or editing applications.
11. DROPBOX RESPONSIBILITIES
The coordinator is responsible for:
- Uploading event photos
- Uploading event videos
- Uploading behind-the-scenes footage
- Uploading final setup footage
- Organizing raw files
- Organizing edited files
- Keeping folders properly labeled
- Removing obvious accidental/unusable footage
- Avoiding unnecessary duplicate folders
- Maintaining the established folder structure
- Making content easy for the Marketing Manager and team to locate
- Identifying strong unused content for future use
12. DROPBOX ORGANIZATION SYSTEM
The standard organization should follow:
YEAR → MONTH → EVENT DATE → CLIENT/EVENT → LOCATION

Inside each event folder:

The purpose is simple:
Anyone on the Hiraya team should be able to find content without having to ask where it is.
13. WEEKLY DROPBOX MAINTENANCE
At the end of each week, the coordinator should verify that:
- Assigned events have been uploaded
- Folders are correctly named
- Raw content is organized
- Edited content is stored
- Published content is identified
- Important footage is backed up
- Unnecessary duplicates are removed
- Strong unused content remains accessible for future posts
Dropbox organization is considered part of the coordinator's weekly responsibilities.
14. CONTENT REPURPOSING
The coordinator should learn how to maximize content from each event.
For example, one marriage proposal could potentially create:
- 1 Instagram Reel
- 2 TikToks
- 1 Facebook story/post
- Multiple Pinterest Pins
- Instagram Stories
- Behind-the-scenes content
- Before/after content
- Venue feature
- Client reaction video
- Proposal inspiration post
The coordinator should also regularly review Hiraya's existing Dropbox library to identify older content that can be reused.
15. WORKING WITH THE MARKETING MANAGER
The Social Media & Content Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Manager.

16. WEEKLY MEETING
Attend a weekly online meeting with the Marketing Manager.
Topics may include:
- Previous week's content
- Performance
- Upcoming events
- Upcoming campaigns
- Weekly priorities
- Content approval
- Missing content
- Trends
- New ideas
- Areas for improvement
The coordinator should come prepared with updates on completed work and upcoming deliverables.
17. MONTHLY SOCIAL MEDIA REPORT
Prepare a simple monthly social media report.
The report should include:
- Content published
- Instagram performance
- TikTok performance
- Facebook performance
- Pinterest performance
- Instagram Story performance
- Reach
- Views
- Engagement
- Follower growth
- Saves
- Shares
- Top-performing content
- Content that did not perform well
- Important observations
- Recommendations for the following month
The purpose of reporting is to understand what is working and continuously improve the content.
18. WORK STRUCTURE
This is a hybrid and flexible position, not a traditional office-based 9–5 role.

Experience in events, weddings, hospitality, luxury, lifestyle, photography, or social media is a plus.
20. COMPENSATION$10,000 MXN Monthly
This position is intended as a Social Media & Content Coordinator role, rather than a Social Media Manager position.
The role combines flexible remote work with selected on-site event coverage.
Initial Evaluation Period
The first 90 days will serve as an evaluation period.
Performance will be reviewed based on:
- Reliability
- Content quality
- Weekly deliverables
- Organization
- Event attendance
- Communication
- Ability to follow direction
- Social media consistency
- Dropbox management
- Overall ownership of responsibilities
Following a successful 90-day evaluation, compensation and responsibilities may be reviewed based on performance and company needs.

TikTok: 6 contents
Facebook: 5 original/adapted contents
Instagram: According to approved content calendar
Instagram Stories: Active throughout the week
Pinterest: Consistent posting and organization
Content Approval: Following week's content submitted for proofing
Event Coverage: Up to 2 assigned events
Dropbox: All assigned event content uploaded and organized
Weekly Meeting: Attendance and preparation
Deadlines: Weekly deliverables completed on time
