Job Responsibilities: (Primary Duties, Roles, and/or Authorities)
Develops new manufacturing procedures, sort/rework procedures, visual aids; updates and improves the existing ones, ensuring that the documents of productive processes are friendly and reflect properly the
actual practice.
Provides training to the operative personnel in the process documents.
Participates in the elaboration of tools of assessment of risks in the process (for example: Risk Assessment, Fault Tree Analysis and FMEA).
Participates actively in the quality improvement teams (CAPA) to respond to Clients Complaints, Rejections, and defects in the Business Unit.
Participates in the determination of the monitoring plan in the critic machines of the unit.
Brings technical support to the Business Units in activities related to a validation and manufacturing.
Proposes and recommend changes to the continuous improvement of processes, products, procedures, and methods focused on the problem prevention.
Participates in the process of design of manufacturing and assemble tools, as well as errorproof devices (poka-yokes, etc.).
Coordinates and runs capital investment projects for the productive process improvement.
Uses the Infinity QS software to control the CTQs and the CTPs (Critical to Process).
Performs Process Develop Studies to identify the critical variables of the processes, and to determinate the parameter window of the process to validate.
Plans and runs validation studies to analyze the capability of the production pr ocess to provide product that meets consistently and reproducibly with the quality specifications and attributes.
Conducts validation studies to determinate if the software involved in the quality production/systems processes is capable of perform its func tions consistently and reproducibly to bring support to the
processes related to product manufacturing.
Education and Experience:
Finished Professional Career at the Bachelor's level in Electronic, Mechatronic, and/or Industrial Engineering.
Two years of experience in a similar job preferred.
Management of statistics concepts and lean manufacturing tools preferred.
Knowledge of standards and regulations related to medical industry preferred.
