About the Role
The Estimator Support I plays a key role in supporting the physical damage claims process by preparing accurate repair estimates and evaluations within established guidelines. This entry-level position focuses on developing estimating expertise while ensuring high-quality documentation, collaborating with internal stakeholders, and contributing to efficient claim evaluations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically inclined, and eager to build foundational knowledge in claims estimating.
What You'll Do-
Prepare accurate repair estimates and evaluations for assigned physical damage claims using claims estimating systems.
- Apply established repair practices, valuation guidelines, and material standards to produce complete and well-documented estimates.
- Document estimate details within claims systems to support claim evaluation and approval processes.
- Execute estimating activities within defined authority levels and escalate complex or non-standard cases when appropriate.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, peers, and senior estimators to clarify estimate requirements and resolve routine questions.
- Identify discrepancies and support their resolution under the guidance of experienced team members.
- Maintain accuracy, quality, and compliance with company procedures while meeting productivity expectations.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements

1+ year of related professional experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Effective interpersonal and collaboration skills.
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn new systems.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Knowledge of automotive repair or property repair principles. (must have)
