BEPC Mexico, a division of BEPC Incorporated, provides and manages consulting services for Medical Device, Pharmaceutical, Automotive, and Manufacturing companies throughout Mexico and around the globe.
We are currently seeking a Documentation Technician to support Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) documentation activities. This role will be responsible for developing, updating, reviewing, and managing controlled documentation within electronic document management systems while ensuring compliance with internal procedures and quality standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop, update, and maintain EHS Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) using established corporate templates.
- Prepare technical documentation in both English and Spanish.
- Coordinate the review and approval process of controlled documents through the company's electronic Document Management System (DMS), including Windchill.
- Revise and update documentation based on reviewer feedback until final approval is obtained.
- Release approved documents in the document control system for employee training assignment.
- Coordinate with the Training department to assign approved SOPs in ComplianceWire (CW).
- Monitor and verify completion of assigned training records in ComplianceWire.
- Maintain accurate documentation records and ensure compliance with document control procedures.
- Track project milestones and documentation progress using dashboards and status reports.
- Provide weekly progress updates to project stakeholders.
- Support documentation activities required for EHS Management System compliance and continuous improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Technical Writing, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in document control, technical documentation, quality systems, or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Experience preparing and maintaining controlled documentation.
- Experience working with electronic Document Management Systems (DMS); Windchill experience is highly preferred.
- Experience supporting employee training documentation through ComplianceWire or similar Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
- Ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Upper-Intermediate English proficiency
